Girls Club Facilitators – Johannesburg

 

Community Media Trust (CMT), a national NGO, wishes to appoint suitably qualified/experienced facilitators. Suitable applicants must reside in Johannesburg. We are looking for facilitators with a minimum of two years’ facilitation experience and a traceable track record. Due to the unique nature of business suitably qualified non-South African females are encouraged to apply. In order to be eligible for consideration all applicants who are non-South African citizens must have the required work and residency permits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate and participate in training sessions
  • Oversee and manage mentors who are running the girls clubs
  • Managing discussions on sensitive topics in an inclusive manner
  • Collecting and monitoring data as needed
  • Referring participants to appropriate services as needed
  • Attend regular project and stakeholder meetings

Requirements

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field
  • Prior experience in facilitating groups
  • Prior experience in HIV and/or community work
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

 

Advantageous

  • Valid drivers licence an advantage
  • Accreditation as a facilitator/assessor or moderator

Office Administrator

 

Community Media Trust (CMT), a national NGO, wishes to appoint a committed individual with initiative and strong administrative skills to provide support as an office administrator in our Johannesburg office.   • Manage office requests for activity costs
  • Reconciliation of all expenditure

  • Proven experience in reconciliation of expenditure
  • Good communication and strong organisational/logistical skills.
  • Initiative and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven IT skills, Intermediate
  • Advanced MS Excel essential
  • Knowledge of the relevant computer packages (MS Office/Skype)
  • Valid drivers licence
