Social Media Co-ordinator – Cape Town

 

Community Media Trust (CMT) is a South African NGO focusing on communication in the fields of basic human rights. CMT aims to empower individuals and communities, encouraging them to take part in managing and improving their own lives, promoting healthy and health seeking behaviour and basic human rights. It does this through media and outreach programmes that provide scientific information in a format that is easy to understand.

CMT is seeking to employ a Social Media Co-ordinator to start immediately for a fixed period until 31 March 2019 and who will be based at our Cape Town Office. The basic salary is R16 000

 

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and as many South African languages as possible
  • Social media experience
  • Generate social media content including photos and posts
  • Good writing skills and telephone etiquette
  • Able to work after hours and weekends if required
  • Conduct ad hoc duties
